Margarita’s, Tamales and Christmas*

Fiesta Kind of Christmas for our bunch.

     Christmas is an exciting time of year! Many people look forward to Christmas for many different reasons wether it be presents, lights, decoration’s, or being with their family. Which I agree, these are all great reasons. When it comes to my family, sometime’s we just aren’t on the traditional/normal side, especially when it’s Christmas. 

Here are some of the reasons I get super excited about our family’s Christmas:

1. FAMILY TIME
2. SEEING THE BOYS SO EXCITED AND HAPPY
3. CHRISTMAS MUSIC
4. PRETTY LIGHTS
5. MAKING OUR HOMEMADE TAMALES WITH MY SISTER AND MY MOM
6. EATING THE HOMEMADE TAMALES AND LOTS OF OTHER MEXICAN FOOD WITH MY FAMILY ON XMAS EVE
7. DRINKING MARGARITA’S WITH MY FAMILY

Today we made the tamales.

It was all fun in games until the tamale’s started to steam and blew some type of breaker and most of the house lost electricity. lol!

We finally managed to get an “OK” picture of the three of us taken by my 4 year old. It was a difficult task to say the least. I’m just glad I wasn’t alone with the casual, no makeup, hang out with my mom and sister department.

I hope this years turns out as yummy as last years Christmas dinner. They seem to be turning out better each year.

I am sure I will be happy either way. Last Christmas I  was one happy Momma!
