The first most important thing seen when entering a home.

An entry way is a very important part of any home. You want your entry way to be beautiful, inviting, and comforting all at the same time. I am going to share with you my decorated entry way along with some of my favorite idea’s every entry way should have.

This is the entry way to my home. My mother made the “FAMILY” sign with wood scraps and painted on them. She also made the wood sign hanging from the shelf for the total solar eclipse that was seen perfect from our house here in Kentucky.

I dried out flowers to put in my old milk jug. After the flowers were hung upside down and dried I then sprayed them with hairspray to keep them in place and not crumble. I also used sticks that I had the boys hunt for in our backyard.

Every entry way should have a table. These are some table ideas I found on pinterest that I absolutely love! For my table I actually had to place the wood on the top which I purchased from Lowe’s. Lowe’s cut the wood in the measurement I needed. IΒ  then stained it and placed it on top of the table.

I added a curtain in the front of my coat closet and tied the curtain with burlap.

I have also added some Christmas decor. As you see I didn’t go to an extreme with the Christmas spirit. I tried to keep the same idea going with the country decor.
